Villa Santa Maria is located on Bequia, the largest of the St.Vincent Grenadines.  From it, one can see the uninhabited islands of Baliceaux and Battowia, on which there this is a wildlife reserve.   The world renowned Mustique Island is about a half an hour boat ride away.  Set in beautiful and tranquil surroundings in Spring Bay, a secluded part of the island, the villa boasts a well attended garden of tropical shrubs and an array of citrus and other fruits of the banana family.  Villa Santa Maria is built on two levels; and is designed for both indoor and outdoor living.   Three double bedrooms (sleeping a maximum of six), each with an en-suite shower, and a lounge which is furnished with large comfortable sofas, and which opens onto a wide veranda, occupy the first level.  The veranda offers a fantastic view of Spring Bay and provides the perfect setting for a quiet and relaxing evening, and a point from which to glimpse (camera at the ready) sunrise in all its glory.  The ground level houses a fully equipped kitchen and a separate and well proportioned dining room, perfect, should fine dining be the choice of the day.   Alternatively one could laze and unwind at the pool, enjoying the ambience with a quiet drink, or having a barbeque meal, entertaining friends or simply soaking up the sun.  The villa is ideally positioned as it is within easy reach of the many beaches, seaside bars and restaurants (local and international) which border Admiralty Bay, the hub of the island. Our Rates are very competitive and can be found here, please call for more details on Rates or any other information you may require.

Getting there.....

The most convenient route is to take an international flight with any of the major carriers to Barbados. From Barbados, take a local airline (SVG Air or Mustique Airways) directly to Bequia. There are two departures per day on each of the airlines and the journey takes about 50 minutes. Alternatively, once in Barbados, fly to St. Vincent on the inter-island airline (LIAT) and take the ferry to Bequia (1 hour)

Bequia is situated at latitude 13 N and 60.15' West, in the southern part of the Caribbean chain known as the Windward Islands. 

After the capital island of St. Vincent (pop. 110,000) situated nine miles to the north, Bequia is the largest of the thirty-two islands and cays that make up the island state of St. Vincent & the Grenadines. The other main islands in the Grenadines chain south of Bequia are Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau and the Tobago Cays, Union Island, Palm Island and Petit St. Vincent
